against bad carbs and fat.
Next we have the Atkins diet. This diet has become one of the most
popular plans in recent years. The plan itself is based on the low
intake of carbohydrates. The amount of carbs is strictly limited and
must be adhered to to be effective. Recently this plan has come under
some criticism by individuals claiming it causes high blood pressure,
cholesterol and may lead to coronary heart disease. With that in mind,
many people go ahead with the diet and see significant loses of weight
in only the first week.
Finally we have the Weight Watchers Diet. With many plans in the weight
watchers portfolio, they all focus on a calorie counting or points
system. This plan helps to control the content of the food you take into
your body. These weight loss plans are widely known for their support
groups and recently for their celebrity endorsements like Queen Latifa.
These weight loss plans are some of the most popular ones around and
have been around for a long time. This can be viewed as a testament to
their effectiveness. With any weight loss plan, it is a good idea to
consult a doctor before beginning.
