The first tip includes ramping up you workout routine, granted you have
one. This is effective because most weight loss routines focus on a
gradual loss of weight. By kicking your routine into high gear it will
force your body to adjust to the added load put on it and in turn burn
more calories. So let's say you are doing 30 minutes on the elliptical
machine at the gym. All you have to do is bump it up to 45 minutes,
simple enough right?
The second fast weight loss tip is to add fiber to your diet. If you
have already implemented fiber in your diet then add about 5 grams a day
to what you already take. It is widely recommended by physicians to take
in at least 25 grams of fiber a day. Fiber helps to facilitate weight
loss.
When taking fiber it is a good idea to have a mix of soluble and
insoluble. You'll find insoluble fiber in whole grains and vegetables
like lettuce and celery. Soluble fiber can be found in fruits like pears
and apples. A side note, be sure when upping your fiber intake to do it
slowly over a week period. Adding to much fiber to your diet too quickly
will lead to bloating and gas.
A final weight loss tip is to avoid binge eating. You know what I'm
talking about. That carton of Edy's Waffle Cone in the freezer. Don't
act like you don't know what I'm talking about;). Rather than woofing
down ice cream or finishing off a bag of donut holes in your moment of
weakness, immediately run outside and around the block.
No, I'm not kidding. If you find yourself with that urge to binge eat
just run! Get out of the house and away from the food. Taking the food
away from the situation is 90% of the battle. If it's not there you
can't eat it. Also, by running around the block your burning calories
instead of stuffing them into your love handles.
